Unemployment Deferment

This deferment is available for all federal loan borrowers.

Unemployment Deferment can be used for:

Deferment for unemployed borrower with a Stafford, Supplemental Loan for Students (SLS), PLUS or Consolidation loan.

This deferment has a 24- or 36-month limit.
