Ways to Make a Payment

Iowa Student Loan offers four options to repay your student loans.

Monthly Billing Statements

With this typical plan, you will receive monthly billing statements in the mail. Statements are mailed approximately 20 days prior to the due date.

To assure that your payments are applied accurately, please include your payment stub along with your payment. Include your account number on your check, especially if you are unable to include your payment stub with your payment. Mail your payments to: Iowa Student Loan, P.O. Box 7388, Des Moines, IA 50309-7388.

Automatic Payment Plan

You can choose to have your payment automatically deducted from your bank account with our Automatic Payment Plan form.

Online Payments

By opting to make online payments, you choose when and how your payment is processed. This is a one-time payment that you can use once or as often as you prefer.

Your options include arranging for the payment (using electronic funds transfer) up to 60 days in advance or instantly. You can apply the funds evenly over your account or assign different amounts toward the various disbursements in your account.

To make a payment now, go to the Account Access page, login and select Make a Payment.

Pay By Phone

To make a payment over the phone for free, call a loan counselor at (800) 243-7552. If your call is received by noon Central time, your payment will be processed on that day.
