Online Payments
Paying online lets you choose when and how your payment is processed. This is a one-time payment process – use it once or as often as you like.
How It Works
Funds are automatically transferred from your bank account.
You have two options:
- Schedule payments immediately or up to 60 days in advance.
- Apply payment to entire account or assign different amounts to specific loans.
Use the following steps to make an online payment.

Access the account Login screen using the link under the My Account section of this site. |

Enter your Username and sign in to your account. |

Select the Make a Payment link under "Options." |
Account Information Needed
Please note the following account information:
- You will need your 10-digit Iowa Student Loan account number.
- Payments to specific loans may not be available on loans that have been consolidated.
- If you are applying payment to one or more specific loans, you'll also need your loan sequence numbers. Locate your account and loan sequence numbers.
